·         When: from 4 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 19^th, 2009

·         Cost: $50 a ticket-table of 10- $500 includes name displayed - kids under 12 free

Come out and see all of our candidates for the 14^th Congressional District and meet some new friends. All proceeds go back to the counties in the 14^th District.

Food and soft drinks included, tickets held at the door.

On Saturday, July 11th Fox Valley Citizens For Peace & Justice, Elgin Rainbow Push, Black Business Owners and Community Networking Organization and Elgin Moveon Council will present a panel discussion and dialogue about Community Economic Restoration after the economic meltdown.  This is the second event in our series.  The first was on May 2nd and featured Dr Vince Gaddis, who gave a lucid explanation of neo-liberal economics and some of the dynamics behind the economic meltdown.  He called for a Revolution in Values as articulated by Martin Luther King that could transform our society.
